It’s our 21st year of Walk & Roll, and we’re excited to be returning to Front Street!

Whether you walk, roll, or run, this family friendly 3 & 5K  event is all about coming together and having fun.

TIME: 8:30 start for both 5k & 3k. Expect to be on the 5K route between 1- 1.5 hours  

✨ New this year: We’ll be drawing the winners of our “Rollin’ Raffle” during the event—be sure to grab your tickets and get in it to win it!

Who can participate in this event?

The simple answer is: EVERYONE with a “CAN DO” attitude!

We warmly welcome: Walkers, Wheelchair users, Individuals using mobility aids and families with strollers
This is an inclusive event designed for all abilities!

EXCITING FEATURES

The fun factor is back as we encourage you to glam up your wheels! Consider decorating your wheelchairs, pushchairs, or strollers, and feel free to enter as a team in creative attire.

Prizes will be awarded for:

•   Craziest Costume
•   Hott Wheels (glam up your wheelchairs, pushchairs, strollers, etc.)
•   Largest Corporate Group
•   Largest Community Group
•   Largest School Team
•   Most Funds Raised by an Individual

WAYS TO SUPPORT

100% of the funds raised support our Educational & Therapeutic Programmes and activities at WindReach, which benefit individuals living with diverse support needs.

1.     Register and consider giving a donation of any amount.
2.     Register and become a fundraiser yourself and encourage friends and family to support your fundraising goal
3.     Choose another walker (who has chosen to be a fundraiser) and support their fundraising goals
4.     If you can’t attend the event but still wish to contribute, consider registering as a fundraiser only. Share your fundraising link with your  network to help you reach your goal.

GOODIE BAGS & T-SHIRT COLLECTION

We will have goodie bags & T-Shirts available for the first 200 registrations. These can be collected at WindReach (Lower Activity Center) on Friday’s leading up to the event. Dates and times listed below:

THE ROUTE

Our walk is being held with the start and finish at the Flagpole on Front Street, Hamilton.

The 3K accessible route will take place on Front Street only and the 5K route will take participants, west along Front Street, to Pitts Bay Road, along St. Johns Road, on to Woodlands Rd. before re-entering the City Limits with finish line at the Flagpole. (Full route can be viewed below)
