Did you know that BBC is the only event of the year where Boulder Canyon is closed to vehicular traffic? It's true! Boulder Canyon will be closed to all vehicles westbound from 7am - 9am on Sunday Sept 7.
Are you ready to tackle the toughest road ride on the Colorado front range? The Buff Epic is a grueling 100.2-mile ride with an elevation gain of 8,694 feet. Starting at 7:00 am, this course is designed for seasoned cyclists looking to push their limits and conquer the ultimate test of endurance.
The Epic 100 cutoff is 12pm at the aid station at Allenspark (mile 39). If you arrive at the aid station after 12noon, grab a bite and head back down to Lyons.
As the hardest course in the Buffalo Bicycle Classic, the Buff Epic promises breathtaking views and a sense of accomplishment like no other. Plus, by participating, you'll be supporting scholarships for students at the University of Colorado Boulder.
