The Donut Fun Run 2024!

Join us for the second annual 2024 Donut Fun Run & Donut Festival on Saturday, October 19, 2024!

The Donut Fun Run is a timed, donut-themed 5k open to all ages and abilities. The post-run Donut Festival will feature live music, live entertainment featuring The Dancing Donuts, food booths, wine and beer, photo ops, and of course, donuts from Donut Petit!

            - Race starts @ 8am

            - Donut Festival starts @ 9am

• For racers under 5: Registration is free! All participants of all ages will need to register for the race and sign a waiver. If you would like to add a t-shirt or medal to a child's free registration, you will have the option to do so as you complete their registration.

  • T-shirts are $18, medals are $10

• For racers 6 and up: Registration includes a t-shirt and medal! 

Our nonprofit partner for the 2024 Donut Fun Run is the Alameda Boys & Girls Club,“the only youth development organization in Alameda that serves youth and teens, ages 6-18, of all demographic and economic backgrounds.”

They offer programs in academic success, healthy lifestyles, teen leadership, sports & fitness, STEM & technology and the arts. We are honored to partner with them and support their fundraising goals for 2024.  

PLEASE NOTE: Race registration fees are nonrefundable. Event organizers are not able to issue refunds for any reason. Please select Race Insurance when finalizing your registration if you would like to be able to apply for a refund. 

Frequently Asked Questions:

• Are strollers allowed on the course? Strollers are allowed on the course, but please be aware that some of the terrain may be a little uneven at some parts. 

• Are bikes and scooters allowed on the course? Unfortunately, the course can not accommodate bikes or scooters along with racers. Racing wheelchairs and racing strollers are allowed.
• Where can I pick up my bib and t-shirt? Bib and t-shirt pickup will happen Wed (10/16) and Thu (10/17) at Lauren's Closet on Park St and Friday (10/18) at Donut Petit. More details to follow as we get closer to the event.
• I'm interested in becoming a vendor at the Donut Festival, how do I apply? Please email thuong@thedonutfunrun.com for information on becoming a vendor, fees, permits, etc.
