ABOUT THIS RACE
The Track Headz x Black is Dope MLK Virtual 5k RUN is an event created to celebrate the great Dr. Martin Luther King during Black History Month. The Virtual Run is available to all ages, creed, color and sex. During this event you will able to not only display your fitness, but also celebrate the spirit of MLK, which is equality. What better way to represent equality then with a 3.1 mile run.
The Track Headz x Black is Dope MLK Day Virtual Run will host 1 event, the 5k Run. This run can be performed in the comfort of your neighborhood, local trail, indoor treadmill, or track. The Race will take place on Saturday February 6, 2021 (The first Saturday of Black History Month). This Race will be available to run for 24 hours only (2/6/21), and winners of both the female and male divisions will be announced the following day (2/7/21). Runners will provide their results through any GPS tracker app and their results will be uploaded to the runsignup.com website.
Every Athlete that participates will not only receive a Free Track Headz MLK 5k Virtual Run T-Shirt but also a matching Gold Medal for completing the 5k Run. In addition to a Track Headz Event T-Shirt and Gold Track Headz Medal, the Top Athletes for both men and women will receive a MLK Prize Pack from our partner ¨Black is Dope Apparel¨.
