Waffle Run Hosted by Daddy Waffles

Join us for the Waffle Run, a fun and delicious way to kick off your holiday season while supporting a great cause! Whether you’re an avid runner or just looking to enjoy a scenic walk, our event offers both a 5K and a 2-mile distance on the beautiful Clovis Old Town Trail.

 

Starting and finishing at the California Health Sciences University, this is the perfect opportunity to work off that turkey and earn a well-deserved waffle breakfast!

 

As you lace up your running shoes, know that every step you take contributes to a meaningful cause. A portion of all proceeds, along with your generous donations, will go directly to the Poverello House, an organization dedicated to helping those in need in our community.

 

Choose Your Distance: Participate in the 5K run or take a leisurely stroll on the 2-mile route—perfect for families and all fitness levels!

 

Waffle Breakfast: After the race, join us at Daddy Waffles to enjoy a delicious waffle combo breakfast featuring a belgium waffle, egg and choice of bacon or sausage. Fuel up and celebrate your accomplishment with fellow participants!

Course Map

2-Mile Course:
The 2-mile course starts at California Health Sciences University and heads north on the Clovis Old Town Trail to the turnaround point at Via Church. Runners and walkers will then turn around and return to the Start/Finish Line, with no additional turns. Participants will pass the water station at approximately 0.5 miles and 1.5 miles.

 

5K Course:
The 5K course begins at California Health Sciences University and proceeds north on the Clovis Old Town Trail until reaching Alluvial. Participants will turn around and head back to the water station, then turn right onto "Spud's Spur" for 1/4 mile, returning to the water station. From there, turn right back onto the Clovis Old Town Trail. When you reach the alley, continue along the alleyway to Sierra Avenue. Turn left on Sierra for 200 yards, then make another left onto the trail. Continue north on the trail to the finish line.

Poverello House provides three meals a day, 365 days a year to men, women and families along with services that improve people's quality of life.
