Walk for Paws

Contra Costa Humane Society in partnership with Mike White Homes is excited to bring our annual fundraiser, Walk for Paws, to the Town of Danville!

Join us for a dog-friendly community walk to raise funds and awareness for the lifesaving work we do for homeless animals throughout Contra Costa County. This family- and pet-friendly event not only supports animals in need but also celebrates Danville as a vibrant, dog-loving destination.

Event Schedule

• 8:30 AM – Check-in begins at the Molly’s Pup-Puree parking lot. Visit sponsor booths, grab your swag bags, and meet local partners!
• 9:30 AM – The walk kicks off! Enjoy a relaxed stroll at your own pace—loop through charming downtown streets, circle Hartz Avenue, or hop on the Iron Horse Trail with your pup.

After the Walk: Treat Trail Fun
Explore the Treat Trail along Hartz Avenue! Participating local businesses will offer treats, shopping, and more. Event maps available at check-in.

Registration Includes (for up to 4 people):

• $50 Early Bird – through August 31
• $75 Standard – through September 30
• $100 Late – after September 30

Each registration includes a CCHS drawstring swag bag for every participant (4 total) filled with goodies from local sponsors and business partners.*
