About the venue:
Three miles southeast of Delano, CA, nestled in the vinyards and orchards of the Central San Joaquin Valley is Lake Woollomes, a 300-acre reservoir with 4 miles of shoreline, making it a cozy location for water recreation.
Swimming is allowed here, making this destination perfect for hot summer days. There’s also a boat dock and a launch ramp for those wishing to take to the water. But, the use is restricted to non-powered boats, so only sailboats, SUPs, and kayaks can be used on the lake. Pedal Boats, Kayaks, and SUPs are available for rent from Serda's Pedal Boat Rentals on Saturdays and Sundays
This fast, flat course is the perfect place to get your next PR.
Note:
A USAT membership is required for the Triathlon, (but not the 5k/10k) If you do not have one, you can purchase one during the registration process.
