In North American folklore, Bigfoot or Sasquatch are said to be hairy, upright-walking, ape-like creatures that dwell in the wilderness and leave giant, humanlike footprints. Depictions often portray them as a missing link between humans and human ancestors or other great apes. They are strongly associated with the Pacific Northwest, particularly Oregon, Washington, British Columbia and Northern California. Individuals have claimed to see the creatures all across North America over the years. Wikipedia

Do you believe in Bigfoot? People have said he has been spotted along river beds in Colorado. Or near the Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles. And some have even spotted Sasquatch in the Tongass National Forest in Alaska.

Join us for the Virtual Sasquatch Trail Run. Register now until September 19th, 2020. Swag will be shipped out when you Register. Take us with you on your run and tag us in your pictures so we can share your journey @sasquatchtrailrun

Elevation Profile

The Sasquatch Trail Run is a scenic trail run with new trails added removing the "out and back" that it had in 2019. Participants will make their way across the river twice utilizing the bridges in place and around the pond at the North end of the preserve. It is 3.16 miles with 257 elevation gain making it a moderate trail run for advanced and beginner trail runners. Be on the lookout for Sasquatch because they have been known to lurk in the area.
