The Fresno American Indian Health Project (FAIHP) is pleased to announce our Second Annual Spirit Run 5K Run/Walk, to be held on April 27th, 2024, at gates open at 7:30AM

UPDATE: Clovis Ave. Will BE Closed from Shaw to Sierra for an event in Old Town starting at 8:00AM
The Spirit 5K Run/Walk is a community event aimed at promoting health and wellness among Native American communities in the Fresno area. The event will showcase the rich cultural heritage of the American Indian people, and will feature traditional dance, songs, and ceremonies.
T-Shirts pre-order through the sign-up site IS NOW CLOSED
We will have a limited supply to purchase day of event, but sizes will not be guaranteed.
Registration includes a medal and goodie bag for the first 300.
First place trophies will given for age categories male & female runners for the first 300 registered.
Age categories will be: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69,
70-74, 75 over. 30 trophies will be given out.
The Spirit 5K Run/Walk is open to people of all ages and fitness levels.

The Eagle is brave, strong, knowing and guides us through songs from the creator.
The Wolf teaches us the way of loyalty, family, communication, and group wisdom.
The Horse is our lost brother that guides us to prosperity and Health.
The Runner is the Warrior that serves as a leader- not from the front or the back, but from among the life forces gifted to us by the Creator.
Running is the celebration of the Warrior’s responsibility.
Our tribal prayer has an expression:
“Creator, Strengthen our Hearts, Mind, Body, and Spirit so that we can Cradle you in your time of Need.”

The new Run Path will follow the "Old Town Clovis Trail".
