Red Wave 5k

The Red Wave 5k and 1.5mi run is a fundraising event to benefit Red Wave Indoor percussion. Red Wave Indoor is an Independent World percussion ensemble from Fresno, California. Founded in 2017, the group performs at local, state, and national competitions every winter. The ensemble seeks to further the growth of young adults in the Central Valley through performance in the pageantry arts. For more information about Red Wave Indoor, please visit their website.

Members of Red Wave Indoor are required to pay membership fees to offset the costs of instructional staff, program designers, transportation, and so much more. In conjunction with the Friends of the Bulldog Marching Band, a non-profit organization that supports the athletic band programs at Fresno State, the goal of this event is to lessen the monetary burden placed on students and allow them to focus on getting the most out of their experience. 

Packet pickup will be Friday, September 27, time and location TBD. Late pickup morning of the race at 6:30am.

Participants will receive a t-shirt. Awards will be given to the top 3 of each age group as well as the first male and female finishers overall.
