Break out the Running Shoes!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 11, 2018 for the annual United Health Centers Foundation Summer 5K Hot Run/ 2 Mile Walk. It will be held at Woodward Park (Sunset Shelter) on Audubon gate entrance. Race start time is 7:15 am for the runners and 7:20 am for the walkers. This will be a timed event and every participant will receive a finish medal after the race. Individual race fee $35 adults/ $20 for children under 13.
Packet Pick Up will be available on Friday, 10th from 11am to 6pm at Fleet Feet Fresno (9447 N Fort Washington Rd, Ste 106, Fresno 93730). Pick up your race t-shirt, bib number, and pancake breakfast ticket.
Special Pancake Breakfast hosted at Applebee’s (Friant & 41) following the race (8am-10am). All participants will receive a pancake breakfast including, sausage, eggs, potatoes, orange juice and coffee. Additional pancake tickets are $10 per person.
The UHC Foundation is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization established to provide resources in support of several community programs that extend beyond the scope of primary healthcare services in rural communities. The UHC Foundation sponsors several supportive services enabling greater accessibility and wellness activities for families living in rural Central Valley communities.
We ask for your support as a sponsors or a participant of the event. All proceeds benefit the numerous programs and services offered to youth and families living in underserved communities.
