Join Us for the 5th Annual "Virtual" Run a K for DYRK1A and Celebrate Our 10th Anniversary!

Walk or run, 1k or more, it's DYRK1A Syndrome we do it for.

DYRK1A Syndrome US is thrilled to host our fifth "Virtual" Run a K for DYRK1A. This year is extra special as we celebrate our 10th anniversary! Whether you choose to run, walk, jump, or simply join a team and cheer on all our warriors from the comfort of your home, we welcome participants from around the world. Contact us if you need any assistance with your virtual run.

Celebrate our Awareness Day and 10th anniversary by participating in the run/walk throughout the entire month of August.

We encourage all participants to share their Run photos on social media! Use the hashtags #runakfordyrk1a, #dyrk1asyndrome, and #dyrk1a so we can cheer on all our WARRIORS! If you can't run, we'd love to see you do something FUN like splashing in a pool, going for a bike ride, or baking cookies. Join us for the fun!

During registration, you have the option to create and/or join a team. We encourage all DYRK1A families to form their own groups, allowing family and friends to rally together and raise funds as a team! Prizes will be awarded to the team with the most participants, the team that raises the most money, and the team with the greatest spirit!

Participation can also be done individually without joining a team.

**Pricing:**
- Participants 18 years and older: $13.72
- Participants between 10-17 years old with discounted price
- Participants 9 years old or younger: Free (discount applied at checkout)

The funds generated on Run Sign Up, Give Sign Up & Bonfire.com will go directly to DYRK1A Syndrome US which is a registered tax exempt 501c3 organization. Our programs and services do extend outside of the US with our collaboration and work with DYRK1A Syndrome International Association. DYRK1A Syndrome US is committed to utilizing the funds that are generated from outside the US for programs & services that benefit the entire international DYRK1A Community.
