Step Up for Research: Run a K for DYRK1A

Lace up and log your kilometers in support of DYRK1A research. “Run a K for DYRK1A” is a virtual challenge that brings together families, friends, and supporters across the globe. Every step—and every dollar—funds critical studies into DYRK1A syndrome, accelerating hope for treatment and improved quality of life.

We encourage all DYRK1A families to form their own teams, allowing family and friends to rally together and raise funds as a team! 

We encourage all participants to share their Fun photos on social media! Use the hashtags #runakfordyrk1a, #dyrk1asyndrome, and #dyrk1a so we can cheer on all our WARRIORS! If you can't run, we'd love to see you do something FUN like splashing in a pool, going for a bike ride, or baking cookies. Join us for the fun!

The funds generated will go directly to DYRK1A Syndrome US which is a registered tax exempt 501c3 organization. Our programs and services do extend outside of the US with our collaboration and work with DYRK1A Syndrome International Association. DYRK1A Syndrome US is committed to utilizing the funds that are generated from outside the US for programs & services that benefit the entire international DYRK1A Community.
