Awesome 80's has gone virtual

Get ready to rock the retro vibes from anywhere!  The Awesome 80's Run has gone virtual, so you can join from your own neighborhood or favorite running spot.  All of your swag will be mailed to your listed address.  Check out the options below and select what works best for you.  If you do not choose an option by October 19, 2024 you will be moved to the virtual run and your items will be sent to you.

We will transfer your registration to the Awesome 80's San Diego June 29, 2025. We look forward to having you hit the pavement in style and in person . Thanks for your patience!

Virtual races happen all the time, and allow you to join the fun without the crowds. You still get all of the great swag mailed directly to you shirt, medal, bib so you can rock out in your neighborhood or while on vacation.  You simply run the distance on your own, and report your results (please use an app or watch to record your time and submit by December 1, 2024.)  

You understand that events are expensive, even when cancelled.  We plan to donate any that choose this option to a partnered charity.

Get ready to transport back to the 80s with our Awesome 80s 5K and 10K run! Join fellow enthusiasts dressed in retro gear as classic 80s hits fill the air. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, our routes cater to all fitness levels.

Cross the finish line to receive your gnarly medal, then stick around for a post-race party blasting classic 80s tunes. Dust off those leg warmers and join us for an unforgettable journey through the sights and sounds of the 80s – it's going to be totally epic!
