About our Courses
From Start Line to Finish Vibes
Our courses are open-pathway routes — meaning they’re held on pedestrian-friendly trails like beach paths, park loops, and river trails. They’re car-free, safe, and full of good energy. Whether you're racing for a PR or strolling in costume, you'll be on a scenic route with no traffic to worry about.
👟 Because these are shared public spaces, you may pass by other walkers, joggers, or casual strollers who didn’t sign up — but that’s part of the CaliFlow charm. Just stay aware and respectful of those around you.
🎧 Pro tip: Save the Metallica for your post-race drive. Please keep the volume low enough to hear voices and instructions around you.
Course Overview 🏃♀️🌊
5K & 10K Course:

Both 5K and 10K runners will head out to the pink flag located at mile 1.55.

The turnaround will be clearly marked with:

A “5K / 10K Turn” sign

A 7-foot pink flag for visibility

5K runners will make the turn and return directly to the start/finish line.

10K runners will complete two loops of the 5K course before finishing through the same start/finish line.
Half Marathon Course:

Half marathoners will head out 2.19 miles to the yellow flag at the Half Marathon Turnaround.

A water station will be located at the turnaround.

Runners will complete three identical out-and-back loops for a total distance of 13.10 miles.
On-Course Water Stations:

Belmont Pier – positioned mid-course for convenient access
