Deo's 500th Marathon & Laps 4 Luke!

It's Deo's 500th Marathon!!

Join us as Deo reaches this incredible milestone while we raise funds for a great cause!

The Main Event - Deo's 500th Marathon: Yes, you read that correctly - 500, 5-0-0, limang daan, any way you say it, it's a lot.  So, Deo will be doing a lot of loops around the Salesian High School football field - and by a lot, we mean 140 laps.  You can register to run/walk the marathon as well though we expect there will not be immense interest in that option so...

Laps 4 Luke & other events!  Deo will start his 500th marathon at 5:30 AM and his projected finish is between 10:30-11 AM.  We will have multiple events throughout the morning that you can participate in.  The entire morning will be a fun celebration of Deo's achievement.

Laps 4 Luke: We will have a one-hour lap-a-thon to raise funds for the Luke Tatsu Johnson Foundation (Team TATSU).  We have an anonymous donor who will donate $1 per lap for every participant during the Laps 4 Luke hour! So, for example, it's about 5 loops per mile and if you get 5 miles in during the hour, that's 25 laps = $25. The loop is 300 meters and you can run or walk and you can keep going continuously or take breaks - it's all up to you!  The only requirement is to have fun and maybe poke Deo each time you pass him.  The tentative start time for the Laps 4 Luke hour is 9:00 AM.  And yes, there will be awards for most laps!

Run with Deo: If you'd like to run/walk part of Deo's 500th with him or do your own run/walk at the same time, you are welcome!  You can do whatever distance you like and start/finish whenever you choose.

Lumpia Mile, Purse Throw & Surprise Relay:   Have you done/seen a Beer Mile? If not, look it up. Ours will be a Lumpia Mile.  Deo is the reigning Purse Throw Gold Medalist from GG Paris, prepare to throw!  Surprise relay!

Dress up?  It's Halloween - dress up if you'd like! We'll have an impromptu costume contest.
