Lotus Flower 5K Run/Walk

The inaugural, Lotus Flower 5K run/walk is here at the historic Echo Park, 751 Echo Park Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90026. This is a fun run for all levels of ability. It will take place on the final day of the Lotus Festival (Sunday July 13th). Your registration will include a commemorative premium T-shirt, amazing die cast finisher medallion, a commemorative bib and access to the refresh zone. Registration is limited to the first 1000 participants so sign up early! Start the celebration on Saturday

The Lotus Festival celebrates Asian Pacific cultures with two days of attractions and entertainment in scenic Echo Lake Park. The festivities take place in July when the eponymous flower is in bloom, and the weekend kick offs with an opening ceremony, continuing with live music, a film screening, cultural performances and more.

Race Info

Starting Line

Runners are encouraged to begin lining up no later than 7:45AM. The race will start on time at 8:00AM.

Line up according to your expected race pace. Faster runners should be positioned at the front of the start chute, while slower runners/walkers/ strollers start on the back. The goal is to have the start flow nice and safely. Remember you are being chip timed. If you are registering or bringing your pet, please start towards the back if possible.

Course Design

Participants will cover the roads inside and on the perimeter along the historic Echo Park ares. Paetial street closures on Park and Echo Park Avenue

Recovery Water Stations

Water will be available at the halfway mark on the route and at the finish / start. There will be 2 opportunities to drink water on the course.

First Aid Support

We will have a roving first aid team available to cover the main portion of the 5K. First aid station also available in the main expo area.

Parking

Allow plenty of time to get to the registration area and pick up your bib & t-shirt. Arrive early and factor in traffic to ensure you make it to the start line on time.

Registration will close 15 minutes prior to start of race, race starts promptly at 8AM. If you arrive late, you may participate in the run/walk but will not receive official results.
