ABOUT EVERWALK & ITS FOUNDERS -- DIANA NYAD AND BONNIE STOLL

Over 35 grueling years and five life-and-death attempts, at 64 years old, Diana finally become the first individual in history to swim the 110.86 miles between Havana and Key West. Trainer Bonnie Stoll, Diana’s longtime best friend, served as the intrepid expedition leader of every Cuba Swim. They channeled their Epic spirit in creating EverWalk — the biggest walking initiative in the world!

Diana and Bonnie aim to inspire people to rocket the current walking wave into a tsunami. Get up. Get out into the magnificent outdoors. Leave your screens. Talk with each other. Discover your town. Diana and Bonnie's story is now a Netflix feature film -- NYAD -- directed by Academy Award winners Jimmy Chin and Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi.  Starring Annette Bening as Diana and Jodie Foster as Bonnie, the film is premiering in film festivals around the world this fall.  NYAD will be released in theaters on October 20 and premier on Netflix on November 2.

This historic route will be closed to car traffic early Sunday morning, October 29. There will be photographers positioned all along the 10K route to capture your journey!

Griffith Park Run

Bring your friends to this unique event for the Griffith Park Run Half Marathon & 5K in Griffith Park benefiting LA City Parks. The race will be a road race with minimal hills. Half marathon begins at 7:30AM and 5K begins at 10:00AM with an Expo for runners and spectators.
