Description

Join us for the 8th running of Run Deo Run as we raise funds for LAFR's Carl Maravilla Scholarship and Let's Go Run programs.  Run Deo Run Turkey Trot features a flat 5K on the trails of Griffith Park. 

Location & Date
Run Deo Run Turkey Trot 5K will be on Sunday, November 30, in Griffith Park. The start/finish area is the Pecan Grove Picnic Area near the LA Zoo/Autry Museum.  The 5K is a mostly flat out and back course along the main trail.

Start Time
Run Deo Run Turkey Trot 5K will start at 8:00 AM.

Virtual Race
If you can't join us race day, please join us by registering for the virtual option.  We will ship your race shirt/medal.

Beneficiaries

5K Awards
Awards will be given to the top 3 overall in the 5K. Age group awards for the 5K are top 3 in the following categories: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.

About LA Frontrunners
Los Angeles Frontrunners (501c3) is a running and walking club for members and friends of the LGBTQ+ community.  In addition to running, walking, more running (and lots of eating), LAFR raises funds and collects goods to donate to local charities. Past beneficiaries include; The Rescue Train, Westside Food Bank, SRLA, PAWS/LA, Life Worth Saving, Friends of Griffith Park, InsideOut Community Arts, Friends of Project 10, Angel City Pit Bulls, The Breakfast Club at St. Thomas the Apostle, and the Don Thompson Scholarship at the USC Film School.
