Join us at 8:30 AM on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 for this 3rd annual 5K/10K race! All proceeds benefit Second Harvest!!!

Race Day Logistics
The start line and finish line will be located inside Byxbee Park, with more details to be emailed closer to the event (2375 Embarcadero Rd, Palo Alto, CA 94303). Please arrive from 8:15 - 8:40 am for check-in (you must check-in on race day, whether you already picked up your bib or not). We reccomend you arrive earlier than that to be able to park somewhere and trek the ~5-10m walk to the location. When you arrive, you will have some time to visit our sponsors' and partners' booths. After a quick raffle (bring some cash - there will be oofos, goodrs, and other cool running gear) the 10K will begin at 9am. Roughly 15 min later, we will start the 5K as well. After you complete your race, if you purchased a deluxe deal, you can pick up your medal. We will sell additional deluxe packages ($15) to those who purchased the regular option if they also want a T-shirt and medal. You can also just buy the T-shirt for $10 at check-in.

SMILE is a group of high school student-athletes looking to use their love of running to put a smile on as many faces as possible. Standing for, Supporting Malnourished Individuals Looking for Equity, we believe that by bringing a community together, there is no issue that can’t be solved. We strive to gather our community for our charitable 5k/10k race and raise money for one of the most prevalent problems in society today: hunger and food insecurity. By providing racers with the chance to set new personal records, or just enjoy a morning run with friends and family, and raising money to support less fortunate people in the process, we hope our event leaves everyone with a big smile. 

SPECIAL DEALS: 

If you are a family of 3 or more, each registrant can get a $5 discount on any package.

If you are a team of 12 or more, each registrant can get a $15 discount on any 10K package.

If you are able to start a Fundraiser and raise more than $100, then your registration fee will be waived! 

If you make 5 referrals, you are eligible for a $20 registration refund!

Note: Unfortunately, as a charity organization, we are currently unable to waive the RunSignup fee. Sorry for the inconvenience.
