Lace up those running shoes for the second Gateway to Yosemite 5K/10K on September 29! While the downtown route was fun and scenic, we’re moving to Fahrens Park this year where both races follow some amazing trails through the disc golf course and dog park.
This year’s event will benefit the disc golf course with signage to better showcase the layout, along with educational information about the local plant and animal life in Fahrens Park. The first 100 finishers will receive a custom Gateway to Yosemite medal. THOSE WHO REGISTER AFTER SEPTEMBER 15 WILL RECEIVE THEIR SHIRTS BY OCTOBER 11.

After the race, stick around for some events hosted by the Merced Disc Golf Club!

Distance Showcase: Join the Merced Disc Golf Club for a distance showcase, where local disc golfers will demonstrate the incredible potential of this unique sport! Watch as players unleash powerful throws, sending discs soaring across impressive distances with pinpoint accuracy. 

Self Serve Putting Games: Step up to the challenge at the Disc Golf Putting Course, designed for non-disc golfers to try their hand at one of the world’s fastest-growing sports. Attempt to sink putts on the practice baskets with discs provided on-site. If you're a first-timer, local club members can offer tips and guidance! Win prizes for making successful putts!
