Description
Support the Oakland Tech Cross Country and Track Team by running a 5k trail race or 1 mile fun run/walk in Joaquin Miller Park on November 3rd, 2024. The location offers beautiful scenery and towering trees for leisurely racers but a challenge for competitive runners. The OT Cross Country team is organizing the race as a fundraiser to fund meet entry fees, training equipment, nutrition and travel expenses for away races. Both of our varsity XC teams placed first in the Oakland Championship race for the past two years, and the boys track team won OAL Track and Field Championships in 2024. We look forward to continuing that performance this season. Please support us by signing up for the race or making a tax deductible donation.
Bib pick-up: Saturday, November 2nd, 2pm-4pm @ Transports or Sunday, November 3rd, 8:30am @Joaquin Miller Meadow
