Description
Butte College is celebrating its 50th Anniversary with the Roadrunner Dash 5K race! The run takes place Saturday, September 16 at the Butte College main campus, 3536 Butte Campus Drive, Oroville CA. Come and enjoy a fun filled day at the college as we celebrate our anniversary. A Butte County Sheriff’s pancake breakfast will be offered along with giveaways, music, kids activities, tours, BBQ, homecoming football game, and more! The day’s events kick off with the race in the morning, but everyone is invited to spend a day exploring what Butte College has to offer! There will be an open house and lots of fun to experience!
5K Course Map and Description
The Butte College Roadrunner Dash 5K race is open to walkers and runners. The 5K course starts near the College's Campus Center/Bus pick up area at the top of the the hill, then heads through the campus, along the wildlife refuge and three ponds, a foot bridge and through the agricultural department, to the back of the football field, and Butte Campus Drive lawn, making your way over to the new track and back through campus near the library to the finish line.
Packet Pickup
Packet pick up will be on Friday, September 15 from noon - 6 p.m. at Fleet Feet in downtown Chico (241 Main Street). Registration will also be available at this time.
We will also host packet pick up and race day registration on race morning beginning at 6:45 a.m. near the start line.
