Description

Join us for the 1st Annual Riverpark 5k Summer Series! This is a run/walk event, with the course being located on a bike path and sidewalk. 5k event starts at 6:00pm each week, and Free Kids 1k is at 5:45pm. The starting and ending point is located at Windrow Park. Parking for the event will be at Rio Del Sol STEAM School, located right next to the park. Limited to first 150 registrants!

T-Shirts will be for sale at the event, or online for $20 or FREE T-shirt by registering for at least 2 of the 3 races.

As this is a series, awards will be given to the top 3 in each age category at the conclusion of Week 3 (7/25) at Window Park.

Chose to come participate with us 1, 2, or all 3 weeks. Discount for registering for all 3! Finisher medals for Kids 1k! Proceeds go towards Rio Mesa Cross Country and Track teams.

Series Points for Riverpark 5k:

Age Group Points are given based on what place you get in your age group each week (please note age is based on your age on the the last day of the series). If you don't place in the top 9 in your age group you get 1 point for participating each week.

1st Place - 10 Points

2nd Place - 8 Points

3rd Place - 7 Points

4th Place - 6 Points

5th Place - 5 Points

6th Place - 4 Points

7th Place - 3 Points

8th Place - 2 Points

9th or greater Place - 1 Point
