Join us for another SANTA PAWS 5K & Elf Dash! We'd like to thank the Greater Palm Springs Lions Club for their continuing support of this event as Presenting Sponsor. We salute our friends at the GPS Lions Club for their continued mission to support the vision needs of our community.
Get into the Christmas Spirit and help support Guide Dogs of the Desert, a 501c3 charity that provides trained guide dogs at no cost for the blind and sight impaired as well as assistance dogs for those with seizures, Autism or PTSD.
Event Information
This one-of-a-kind 5K event where every participant can be Santa Claus! Each participant receives a Santa suit that can be worn during the event and is then yours for keep!
All participants run, walk or stroll the 5K (3.1mile) route. Strollers and doggies are welcome!
Following the 5K, we offer a 200 meter Elf Dash for children 10 and under. Entry for the kids' event is $15 and includes a finisher medal!
Everyone is welcome! Runners, walkers, strollers, doggies - come one - come all for a great morning filled with holiday cheer and lots of Ho! Ho! Ho's!
Course Info
Follow a fast and flat course (well, mostly flat...there is one little hill, but then the downhill to the finish is awesome!) beginning in the Temple Isaiah parking lot at 332 West Alejo Rd., Palm Springs and following a quiet and scenic route through the iconic Las Palmas neighborhood.

Location: Ruth Hardy Park parking lot at 700 Tamarisk Road, Palm Springs 92262
Dates: Friday, December 6th from 11AM - 4PM
Packet pick up and late registration ($50) will also be available race morning at the race site (332 W. Alejo Rd., Palm Springs), beginning at 7:30AM.
Race Day Parking
Plenty of free parking is available on the streets east of the venue as well as a public lot on Alejo just west of Palm Canyon.

Will there be a bag check available?
Unfortunately, we will not have a bag check available for this event
Are dogs allowed on this run?
Absolutely! We just ask that you keep your dogs on a leash and that you clean up after them!
Are strollers allowed on this run?
Yes! If you plan to run with a stroller please make sure to line up at the back of the starting line. Absolutely no strollers may start at the front, this is for your safety!
Is there a time limit for this event?
There's a cutoff of 1 hour and 45 minutes for the 5K. You can run, walk. or stroll!
Are there any restrooms for this event?
There will be porta potties at the finish line.
Can my shirt/medal be mailed to me?
Unfortunately, we will not be mailing out any items. All items must be picked up on-site at packet pickup or race morning. This applies to race items and awards. If you cannot make it to the event, you can have a friend grab your items for you as long as they have a copy of your ID.
