Walk for Jenna's Joy: A Mental Health Awareness 5k

Description
This event is a walkathon on April 26th, 2025 in El Dorado County (EDC). This walkathon will raise money for the non-profit Jenna Sue Souza Furst Memorial Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships and a free therapy session to local high school students within EDC. The walkathon aims to spread mental health awareness with an emphasis on our youth. The trail will start at the Placerville Town Hall, go through main street, and loop back to Placerville Town Hall, utilizing the EDC trail at the end.
The registration at the event will begin at 8am and will close at 10am. The walk will begin at 9am. T-shirts and raffle tickets will be available for purchase on this website and at the event. Local businesses will be donating fantastic and generous raffle prizes.
If you would like to attend, but not walk, please consider donating $20 and join us at 11am at the Placerville Town Hall. We will have light refreshments available.

Group Discounts Offered
Groups of 8 registered participants will receive a $3 discount each. The way registration works is the first 7 participants will pay full price and once the 8th participant has registered, a discount will be provided to all registered participants. Go to "Group Registration" to create your own group or join one already created.
Raffle Tickets!
Raffle tickets are for sale online for only $5 and you don't need to attend to win. The local community has really been generous with their donations. Each registered participant will receive one free raffle ticket; additional tickets will be sold online and at the event.
The raffle ticket list is continuously growing and we will update it accordingly.
