Hosted by The Guardsmen, this race raises crucial funds to support underserved youth, providing them with life-changing outdoor experiences and educational opportunities.

Whether you're chasing a personal best or enjoying a scenic stroll, your participation directly helps Bay Area kids who need it most. Cross the finish line knowing you've made a difference—and celebrate with a well-earned pancake breakfast, drinks, and a lively post-race expo.

What time do the races start? 
8:00 am - Half Marathon
8:30 am - 10 K
9:00 am - 5 K 
 
Is there a bag check? 
Yes, the bag check is at Cristy Fields and opens at 6:00 AM. 
 
Are strollers and/or dogs allowed in the race? 
Strollers and dogs are allowed in the 5K fun run/race only. 
 
Where and when do I pick up my bib? 
You can pick up your bib on either:  
Saturday: Sports Basement 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM 
Sunday: Crissy Fields 6:00AM - 7:45AM 
 
Can I help fundraise? 
Absolutely! Please sign up here. 
 
How do I get there and where do I park? 
 
Rideshare 
Rideshare to the race is encouraged! Uber, Lyft or Taxi.  
 
Parking 
Park in the East Beach Parking Lot or the Marina Green Parking Lot and walk to the Start/Finish area. Public transportation encouraged!
 
What is the refund policy? How can I transfer my registration? 
While registrations are non-refundable, you may transfer your registration to a friend on Eventbrite. To change your registration, you need to update your order information with the new runner's information. Log into Eventbrite, click Tickets (under your name in the top right), and follow this screenshot. 
 
May I change my running distance? (e.g. 5k to 10k)? 
Yes, please transfer to the other registration type in Eventbrite. Log into Eventbrite, click Tickets (under your name in the top right), and follow this screenshot. 
 
Who are The Guardsmen? Why is this a benefit? 
Since 1947, The Guardsmen have been changing lives across the Bay Area by sending more than 2,500 underserved youth to camp and by providing scholarships for more than 250 students to attend private schools. Learn more about The Guardsmen. 
 
What is The Guardsmen's IRS status and the Fair Market Value of the event? 
The Guardsmen is a registered 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation under tax ID# 94-1196194. In exchange for each registrations, the donor will receive $54.31 in goods and services for all distances. If you choose to make a donation, the value of the goods and services you will receive is $0. Only a registration purchase grants entry to the race.
