How far can you walk in 30 days?

How far will you and your dog walk in 30 days? This December, we’re challenging you to get into FULL-ON DAILY DOG WALK MODE—because why cap the zoomies? From December 1–31, step out with your furry BFF every single day and see how far you two can wander. One stroll, two strolls, ten strolls… log ’em all and watch those miles pile up like gifts under the tree.

Here’s the leash-length low-down:

30 Days of Walks, Infinite Wagging
How far can you and your buddies (canine or otherwise) walk in 30 days? Whether it’s a quick potty trot or a snow-day marathon, every outing counts. Track your total distance—you’ll be shocked (and smug) come New Year’s Eve. Use whatever GPS tracking device you like such as an Apple Watch, FitBit, or smart phone app (we recommend Wooftrax app, but you can use whichever app with which you are comfortable). Post your progress and results and maybe you'll be eligible for prizes and praise. You can also choose to be a fundraiser and by raising more than $100, we'll refund your $25 registration fee

Each frosty footstep fuels Haven Pet Center, our no-kill pet adoption facility, and its lifesaving medical and adoption programs. Just want to help out? You can become a fundraiser and collect pledges, donations, and maybe a few jealous stares from sedentary squirrels.

Ready to flex those paws?
Hit “Register,” lace up, leash up, and let’s turn 30 chilly days into a blizzard of good deeds. How far will you and your pooch roam?

This pup spent nearly a year at Haven Pet Center and finally found the perfect home

This cat was labeled "unadoptable". Because we focus on adoption rather than euthanasia, our staff worked with her for months and turned her into a lap cat. We wouldn't have been able to do this without your support.

This pup was pulled from a euthanasia list and brought to Haven where our staff found him a home. Your donations kept him happy while here at Haven.

Dutch had "cherry eye" and needed expensive surgery. With your donations, we got him treated and he found his forever home.
