Welcome to the 2nd Annual Run As One. The Can Do! Community 5K and Fun Run. We are excited to host another  Fun Run/Walk and 5K race for the Dixie School District children, families, teachers, staff and the entire San Rafael community and beyond. All finishers receive a t-shirt and post race refreshments.  All proceeds from the race go to the Can Do! Education Foundation to fund vital programs for the Dixie School District that may not otherwise be available. Can Do! bridges the gap between what our schools need and what they receive to provide our children with an extraordinary well rounded education.We invite you to sign up for the race and support our schools. We look forward to a fun day and seeing you out there.

About the Foundation

About Can Do: Education Foundation raises critical financial resources to fund vital programs for the Dixie School District.Over 2,000 students at our four schools in the Dixie School District: Dixie Elementary, Mary Silveira Elementary, Vallecito Elementary and Miller Creek Middle School rely on Can Do! to fund the following programs:

Course Information

5K Run/Walk Course:

Start at the Miller Creek Middle School parking lot

●      Left on Las Gallinas Ave.

●      Left on Pinewood Dr.

●      Right on Quietwood

●      Left on Miller Creek Rd.

●      Right on Idylberry Rd.

●      Left on Huckleberry Rd.

●      Left on Appleberry Rd. 

  •   Right on Cedarberry Lane

●      Left on Miller Creek Rd.

●      Right on Quietwood Dr.

  • Right on Pinewood

●      Right on Las Gallinas Ave.

●      Finish in the Miller Creek Middle School parking lot 

The Fun Run will start at Miller Creek Middle School and traverses along a closed trail around the school. The course is approximately 1 mile.

Packet Pick-Up

BIB PICK-UP @ MILLER CREEK MIDDLE SCHOOL:  Bib and shirt pick-up will be available at the dates and times below.  We encourage you to come on Saturday morning to ensure a smooth start to our events on Race Day.

   > Saturday, September 29: 8:00 AM- 10:00 AM

   > Sunday, September 30th (race day) 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM


There will be no parking in the Miller Creek Middle School parking lot.  There is parking in  the surrounding neighborhoods.  Please consider carpooling or biking to the race to ensure an on-time start.
