8.17 Miles to Empower Our Youth: Travel, Athletics & College Scholarships 💪🏻 Move with Purpose
This August, join the Live Like Leo Foundation for our annual 8.17 or 17.8 Miles Virtual Challenge, honoring Leo’s (17th) birthday on August 17th. From August 1–18, 2026, walk, jog, run, or move your way to supporting transformative opportunities for young people. This year, we introduced athletic funding programs, issuing funding for batting cages for softballers who did not have training facilities.

Educational Scholarships: Investing directly in students' futures to help them chase their academic and leadership dreams with the Santa Cruz Community Foundation.
