Charity Partner
We are excited to announce that the local charity partner for this event will be The Sonoma Valley Education Foundation!!
SVEF was founded in 1993 by five public school parents seeking to support and enhance their students’ educational opportunities. SVEF began by providing grants to teachers and administrators, and sponsoring community initiatives, such as family night at the local library branch and school orientations for Latino families. Throughout 26 years of providing support to SVUSD schools, SVEF has invested over $20 million dollars in Sonoma Valley public schools. The Sonoma Valley Education Foundation exists to cultivate community support and raise funds to enable the potential of every student.
Our Shared Goal
That every student who attends our public schools is safe, healthy and engaged, so they can show up to school ready to learn.
Our Priorities
Based on our community's feedback and the strengths and assets of our partners, we have selected three priorities to begin this work: Mental Health and Social-Emotional Support, Extended Learning Opportunities, and Family Engagement.

Can I Participate Virtually?
Absolutely! We have been getting many inquiries about virtual participation and have integrated a virtual option into our regular registration.
Please feel free to register through the regular registration link above and you can either:
1) Pick up packet during packet pickup or on the morning of the race, but run on your own (hint: wine ticket is still good if you use this strategy)
2) Contact us at any time to switch to the Virtual Wine Run 5k and we'll ship your packet (There will be a shipping and handling charge for this option)
Also, if you intend on running, but later change your mind and would like to do either of these options, that's ok too! If you are definitely going to have us ship your packet and run virtually though, we do recommend you follow the instructions below:
1). Go to runsignup.com/profile and log into your account.
2). Click on "Manage Registration" next to this race.
3). On the next page click on transfer to another race and choose the virtual wine run race.
