Tierra del Sol's Second Annual Virtual Walk n' Roll 5K/10K

Register now and complete your 5K/10k anytime, anywhere, during the first two weeks of National Disability Employment Awareness Month October 1-15.  

This virtual event is an opportunity to get outside, get moving and spread the word to your family and friends about Tierra del Sol!  WALK, RUN OR ROLL at your own pace to help raise funds and awareness for Tierra and our work to champion inclusion and value for ALL people with disabilities. 
 
TO JOIN:

1. Register by clicking "Register" or "Sign up here" above.

2. Create a fundraising page for yourself or create a team, set a fundraising goal, and share your personal or team page link (that can be found in your confirmation email) with your family and friends to help raise money for Tierra!

3. Complete a 5K (3.1 miles/7,000 steps) or 10K (6.2 miles/13,000 steps) or your own personal challenge at your convenience any time, anywhere between October 1 through October 15th.

4. Upload your results to your portal on givesignup.org

5. Celebrate your accomplishment by sharing on social media!

 
Participants can use whatever tools they like to track their steps (apple watch, fitbit, phone apps, etc) and input your results on your fundraising page.

Ways to complete your walk/run/roll:

• Go on neighborhood stroll

• Walk your dog

• Hit the beach and walk along the sand

• Go on one of Southern California's beautiful hikes

• Have a friendly competition with family/friends/co-workers on how many steps/miles you complete

 
Registration Fee:
$25 (All Registrants will receive a Tierra del Sol Long Sleeve T-Shirt)
 

Prizes for teams/individuals available:

1) The individual that raises the most $ for Tierra will receive 4 tickets to a LA Dodgers game next season (date TBD)

2) Any individual who registers & raises $250 will receive a Tierra clear stadium bag

3) Any individual who registers & raises $500 will receive a a choice of a Tierra portable phone charger or Tierra bluetooth speaker
4) Any team or individual fundraiser who registers & raises $1,000 will receive a Tierra beach towel (one per team member: maximum 5 per team)
5) The individual who has the most miles walked/longest distance will receive a medal and a special prize (First, second & third place available) (please upload your results to the portal to qualify)
