SOAR's 15th Annual Mardi Gras Madness 5K/10K

MARDI GRAS MADNESS IS BACK AND BIGGER THAN EVER FOR 2025!!!

ABOUT MARDI GRAS MADNESS
On Sunday, February 23, 2025, the members of the Santa Clarita Track Club and Westfield Valencia Town Center are proud to present the 15th annual Mardi Gras Madness 5K/10K and Mini Madness 1K, benefiting Students Off And Running (SOAR) of Santa Clarita.  SOAR provides a fully supported Los Angeles Marathon training experience to SCV high school youth ages 14-18 at no cost to participants or their families, and is an Official Featured Charity of the 2025 Los Angeles Marathon.

Mardi Gras Madness is a premier family fun run / walk centered in the heart of the Santa Clarita Valley.  The event offers participants a scenic 5K / 10K USATF certified circuit course, chip timing, custom marathon quality finishers medal, tech T, health and fitness expo, beer garden, food, costume contest, games and giveaways, silent auction, celebrity hosting, and live entertainment. Mardi Gras Madness is open to strutters, strollers, and K9 participants as well. We hope to see you there!  Thanks for your support!

COURSE INFORMATION
MGM is a USATF certified rolling 5K/10K circuit run on paseos, with bridge overpasses that will challenge many runners, throughout the City and along the scenic South Fork River Trail. Please be advised, there is a dirt equestrian trail element as part of the 10K course from Mile 3.25 Mile 4.85. CLICK HERE for Course Details.

EARLY PACKET PICKUP AVAILABLE 
Early bib and packet pickup will be available 10:00am-4:00pm Saturday, February 22nd in the Canyon Club courtyard just inside the rear entrance at Valencia Town Center in Valencia close to H&M. Valid ID is required to receive a 2025 - 8 One 8 - Beer Garden Access wristband. ​No exceptions will be granted.  Unfortunately, due to overwhelming demand, onsite registration cannot be guaranteed for 2025. • Check-In/Pre-Registration only: 6:30am - 8:00am   
• 1K Warm Up: 7:25am
• 1K Start: 7:30am
• 5K/10K Warm Up: 7:55am
• 5K/10K Start: 8:00am
• Awards Ceremony/Drawing Giveaways: 9:30am
AWARDS• 1st - 3rd place age group awards in all 5K/10K race divisions as follows:
* 10 & Under
* 11-14
* 15-18
* 19-29
* 30-39
* 40-49
* 50-59
* 60 +
•  Awards for top three 5K/10K Women & Men Overall winners.
• Awards for top three Team Finishes.
• All 5K/10K runners receive a custom finishers medal, t-shirt & goodie bag!
