2024 Winters Spooktacular Fun Run and Costume Contest

DOWNTOWN WINTERS HARVEST FESTIVAL:

The three day Downtown Winters Harvest Festival will be on October 25th, 26th and ending on October 27th. The festival will include harvest themed events that are fun for the whole family the entire weekend. The 2024 Winters Spooktacular Fun Run and Costume Contest is part of the Winters Harvest Festival. 

RACE EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Grab your costume and running shoes and head out to the 2024 Winters Runners and Walkers Club Spooktacular Fun Run and Costume Contest on Sunday, October 27th.  We’re going to have a WICKEDLY good time.  This event is a thriller for the entire family.  In addition to the 5K & 10K, kids will scream with excitement on the 1 Mile Monster Dash. We will have an individual costume contest, as well as a best group costume contest.  Please join us for Winter’s 5th Annual Halloween Fun Run sponsored by the Winters Runners and Walkers Club. So if you dare to challenge yourself to a spooky fun time, sign up TODAY and we’ll be waiting for you at the starting line…  Trick-or-Treat!  Happy Halloween!

REGISTRATION AND PACKET/PU:

Late Registration and Packet Pick-up 10/26/24 (Saturday) in front of Berryessa Gap Vineyards Tasting Room 15 Main Street Winters, Ca 95694 Winters from 10am-4pm & Race Day 10/27/24 (Sunday Race Day) Rotary Park, corner of Railroad St. and  Main Street, Winters, Ca 95694 from 6:30-10:00am. 

START TIMES:

8:00am Start 10K (3 Hour Limit)

8:10am Start  5K (3 Hour Limit) 

10:00am 1 Mile Kids Monster Dash and 1Mile Adult

REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS:

All Races Finishers receive medals. 1 mile adult, 5K and 10K receives a custom medal + Tech Tee + Chip Timing + One Free Hooby’s beverage (must be 21 years old for beer) (wine not Included) “ONLY FOR USE ON 10/27 FROM 8:00AM-12:00PM”. 1 Mile Monster Dash receive a medal + Tech Tee.

All Shirts Guaranteed before 10/9/24).  

NOTE:

The 5K & 10K course is open to regular traffic, please observe all traffic laws. Volunteers may be at intersections along the course. The 5K & 10K course will start opening at 10:00 AM, there is a 3 hour timed course Limit for 5K and 10K. The start line will be separated by Pace Markers. 

AWARDS:

Place Awards for 5K&10K Male and Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners. Costume Contest prizes for Individual and Best Group choices 5k / 10K and 1 mile monster dash.

FEES:

1 mile Monster Dash $20.00. 1 mile individual adult/teen $20.00.

5K 6/25 until 9/12 $30.00. 9/13 until 10/26 $35.00, then $40.00 on Race Day.

10K 6/25 until 9/12 $35.00, 9/13 until 10/26 $40.00. then $45.00 on Race Day.
