Community 2 Community Thanksgiving Day 5K Run & Walk

A Thanksgiving morning gathering of runners and walkers to celebrate community fellowship while running/walking a 5K (3.1 miles) in and around Woodland High School and the streets that surround the property. Add to that the idea that each participant makes a small donation toward helping those victims of the Camp Fire (the Butte Fire), and one has a great opportunity to "give back" on a day where gratitude is front and center. The Woodland Food Bank is taking a year off of hosting their Running with the Turkeys race - a successful recent tradition and here is your opportunity to share community fellowship. One distance, one race; keep it simple yet meaningful, rain or shine with the smokey, dangerous air predicted to be much healthier on November 22nd, we'll serve up an old school timing and finish collection that will give the the Community 2 Community Thanksgiving Day 5K Run & Walk a unique "KISS' perspective. All participants receive simple satisfaction of having given a tax write off donation to the victims of the Paradise Fire for just $25 to enter ($30 on race day).
