Join thousands worldwide as we unite together to WALK or RUN for clean water worldwide. Take the challenge and do 4 miles this week (either all at once or throughout the week!) You can even submit your best time to the global leaderboard!
This is a GLOBAL and VIRTUAL event happening across the world for ONE FULL WEEK! The Week starts March 16 and ends on World Water Day, March 22.
During this week, you can walk or run as many of the days as you wish! We are placing a challenge to you to WALK or RUN 4 miles this week. Why 4 miles? Because around the world, millions are walking an average of 4 miles (6km) per day to fetch water, often carrying up to 40 pounds of water. You can do this 4 mile challenge as many times as you would like, all at once, or overtime throughout the week. If you would like to submit your time for 4 miles, you can do so!
Where should I do my walk or run? You can walk or run on your own throughout the week or you can hold a walk or run in your neighborhood, at your school or university, at your business and more! Get creative and ask others to join in! Hold a walk with co-workers over lunch or for happy hour, coordinate a walk with educational stops (we will send you materials) at your school or through your town.
You are joining thousands around the world in a weeklong call to action to provide and protect clean water worldwide! Thank you for being a part of an amazing week!
