Mamas Day 5K & Family Fun Run

Mamas Day 5k and free Family Fun Run is located in beautiful Buena Vista, CO. This run is on a combination of dirt and paved town trails and is stroller friendly. Open to anyone wanting to celebrate moms! Run, jog, walk, stroller roll!  5k Participants receive goodie bag and custom trucker hat. 

Kids can decorate their own race bibs and face-painting will be available!

Stick around for snacks, coffee, and giveaways from local business sponsors after the run! We'll have awesome giveaways from Cool River Cafe, The Lettucehead, Studio on Railroad, The Buena Viking, Buena Vista Healing, Eddyline Brewery, Sex, Plants, Rock & Roll, and Joyful Flags!

A portion of each race registration will go to support elevateHER, a local non-profit who's mission is to "foster self-worth and grit in young women through mentoring, outdoor adventure, and holistic wellness programs."  You can also show them a little extra love by donating any amount when you register for the event.

Family Fun Run is FREE and starts at 10:00
5k starts at 10:30

REGISTRATION & Deferment
If you register and are unable to participate in the event, you have these options:

1 - Let the race director know at least 48 hours in advance if you would like to defer to next year’s event (you will not receive a refund for this year but won't have to pay for next year).
2 - Stay registered and pickup your giveaway during packet pickup, or
3 - Forfeit your giveaway and your registration, considering it a donation.
* Additional accommodations can be made for expectant or newly postpartum mothers (contact race director)

WEATHER:
Spring in Buena Vista is unpredictable. Last year we had fun running in mud and snow! The event will go on whether it's sunny, raining, snowing, or otherwise!

ANIMALS and PETS:
Dogs are NOT allowed on any race course due to our race insurance.  
You can bring your furry friends to the Start/Finish Line, but please keep them controlled,​at least 20 feet away from the Start/Finish Line, ​and on a leash at all times.
