Description
Put on your lederhosen and sneakers as we kick-start the annual Highlands Ranch Community Association's Oktoberfest in Town Center with the Oktoberfest 5K!
This course is a mixture of both sidewalk and gravel trails and is well-suited for all ability levels. After the race, plan to stick around for a pancake breakfast from Flippin Flapjacks', free beer from Living the Dream Brewery (21+), and post-race fun! Come back later in the afternoon to get your polka on, enjoy German food, and other HRCA Oktoberfest activities.
As part of the "Kettlebell Cash" Series, we will be hiding a blue kettlebell out on course worth $100 to whomever finds it and brings it back to the finish!
The race begins at 9:00 am sharp. Please arrive with ample time to park, find the starting line, and get warmed up!

Race Day Packet Pickup
You will be able to pick up your timing bib and race shirt beginning at 7:30 am on race morning. There will be no on-site registration, however, registration will remain open online until the start of the race and racers will be able to register and pay, in real-time, on their mobile phone.

Course Description
Tighten your laces and suit up your lederhosen for this fun and fast course that has a total ascent of 144ft and reaches a max elevation of 5,773ft. Starting and finishing on Dorchester Street, the course will take you through neighborhoods, along the Foothills Trail and Diamond K Trail, past Kistler Park, and back through neighborhoods to Town Center South.
There will be one aid station available at Kistler Park (at approx. 1.5 miles) that will offer water. This racecourse is family and pet-friendly! Please feel free to push your child in a stroller or run with your furry friend. Out of courtesy and safety for fellow runners, please start in the back.
