Superior Stocking Run

Join us on Sunday December 11th for a fun and festive, family-friendly 5K run and walk in the town of Superior - conveniently located off Highway 36 between Denver and Boulder. Get a head start on the holiday season with the Stocking Run!!!

All finishers will receive a Stocking Run finisher medal which doubles as a Christmas tree ornament. How fun is that!!! Kids age 8 and under will also get to choose a tiny toy at packet pickup!

This is also the first race in the Racing Underground Winter Running Series, which makes its return after two years of COVID.

The three-race series includes the Stocking Run 5K in December, the Yeti Chase 5K/10K in January, and the Ralston Creek Half-Marathon & 5K in February. Choose from the 5K-5K-5K series or the 5K-10K-Half Marathon Series.

7:30 a.m. - Race-Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up Opens
9:00 a.m. - 5K Run Starts
9:45 a.m. - Awards Presentation* 
 
COURSE
The Superior Stocking Run is a USATF certified 5K road course that starts and finishes at Purple Park in the town of Superior. Runners depart the start line on Rock Creek Parkway and enjoy a fast gradual downhill opening mile. The course then winds through Rock Creek neighborhoods before returning to Rock Creek Parkway for the final half mile. The finish line will be on Rock Creek Parkway, which is closed to traffic for the race! Click Here for a Course Map.

 
WINTER RUNNING SERIES
Series Finisher Medals to all runners who finish all three series races!!!

The Superior Stocking Run is the first event in the Racing Underground Winter Running Series. The Series also includes the Yeti Chase 5k & 10k in January, and the Ralston Creek Half Marathon & 5k in February. A 5k-5k-5k series and a 5k-10k-half marathon series are offered. REGISTRATION
Your entry fee includes entry into the race, a Stocking Run technical running shirt in gender-specific adult sizes, and 50/50 short sleeve youth size shirts, fun music, post race munchies including Jill's famous home baked banana chocolate chip bread, and if you are one of the speedy guys or gals up front you may take home a bit of cash!!!
