Description
The Dog Days of Summer are upon us!
Fleet Feet Hartford in collaboration with the Thomas Hooker Brewery, Dog Star Rescue, TrueForm and Hoka One One are hosting this unique event to celebrate the Dog Days of Summer and to raise money for Dog Star Rescue to help them continue finding forever homes for orphan dogs!
The event features a series of mile races for humans and canines (with heats for kids, adults and owner+dog). The fastest male, female and human+dog will win a pair of Cliftons from Hoka!
Your registration includes a doggone fun medal and a post-race buffet featuring Bears BBQ and a cold beverage from Thomas Hooker Brewery (non-alcoholic beverages for those under 21 years of age) . Dogs (and their owners) are invited to hang-out and play in Dog Star's play room pre and post race. All proceeds from the events will be donated to Dog Star Rescue.
The fastest male and female, as well as the human who ran with the fastest dog will win Clifton's from Hoka One One.
Schedule Of Events:
- 5:00 PM - On-Site Check-in and Registration (fee is $30 for on-site registration)
- 6:30 PM - Adult Mile
- 6:55 PM - Dog Mile (dogs must run leashed to a human)
