2025 Darien Road Race & Family Fun Day Charity Fundraiser

For 45 years, The Community Fund of Darien has brought the community together for the annual Darien Road Race & Family Fun Day. This beloved fall event features two races—a 1.5-mile Timed Fun Run and a 5-mile Timed Race—plus family-friendly activities under a big tent. Every dollar raised supports essential youth and family social service programs in Darien, Norwalk, and Stamford.

Since 1951, The Community Fund of Darien has granted more than $28,000,000 to help provide our neighbors access to food, shelter, physical and mental healthcare, job training, and youth success programs. Your support improves the lives of more than 37,000 neighbors through grants to a network of over 30 local nonprofits addressing basic needs.

Together, we can strengthen our community! How to participate:

1)  REGISTER TO RUN! Challenge yourself with a 5-mile timed race or the 1.5 mile fun fun. Aim to beat your personal best or enjoy a leisurely jog along the scenic route! Your registration is the first step in making a difference.  Thank you!

2)  REGISTER TO WALK! Enjoy a walk around the loop or gather a group of friends to join you. It’s the perfect opportunity to chat and catch up while doing good. Bring the family – strollers are always welcome!

3)  Come hang out at the family activity tent! No registration necessary! Come cheer on and support the runners and walkers by joining us at the event. Enjoy family-friendly fun and activities under the tent.
