The Community Fund of Darien 2024 Darien Road Race & Family Fun Day Sponsored by Point72

For over 40 years, The Community Fund of Darien has been hosting the Darien Road Race & Family Fun Day. This fall event includes two races, a 1.5-mile Fun Run and a 5-mile Race, along with lots of fun activities under a big tent for everyone in the family. All proceeds from the event go towards supporting vital youth and family social services programs in Darien, Norwalk, and Stamford.

Since 1951, The Community Fund of Darien has granted over $27,000,000 to local nonprofits assisting our neighbors in Darien, Stamford, and Norwalk with basic needs. Join us in our mission to ensure our neighbors have access to food, shelter, physical and mental healthcare, job training, and youth success.

Together, we can strengthen our community! How to participate:

1)  Register for the race!  Your registration for the 1.5-mile Fun Run or the 5-mile race is the first step in making a difference.  Thank you!

2)  Create an individual fundraising campaign and set a monetary goal. Every dollar matters, and it all adds up! Then, share your goal with friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers so that they can support your efforts - $10, $15, $20 or any amount!

3)  Become a team leader and increase your impact on the community by forming a fundraising team!

  • Consider enlisting friends and families from your school, book group, or sports team
  • Switch things up and challenge your tennis and golf buddies 
  • Last, but not least, get your extended family in the game

4)  Even non-runners can participate as fundraisers!

Noteworthy: Parking is limited.  Please plan on using a rideshare service, getting dropped off, carpooling, bicycling, walking, or a taxi.
