East Farms Spring Ahead 5k & 1M Fun Run

This race started by a mom of the school 11 years ago. With covid and the loss of a year this will be the 10th year for the race. This is a community event, not just school and it is the biggest event to help raise funds for the school. The funds help support fieldtrips, events at the school such as Trunk or Treat, VIP Dance for the 4th graders, Spirit Day, Staff Appreciation, Frosty Fest, Back to School events, math night, curriculum night. The race also helps to support the local food bank and we ask those registered to bring non-perishable items that get donated to the food bank.

We have students, families and community members come to run and have fun. It has been a lot of fun the past years watching the kids receive their medals, have our mascot dressed up to high five the runners and seeing families do something together that supports movement and wellness.

Registration starts at 1:30pm & Race starts at 2:30pm.

Medals to everyone that runs and a prize for the child that wins the 1 mile and the 5k.
