Description

Get ready for the Run To Graduation to celebrate Daniel Hand High School (DHHS) Graduation Class of 2025! Hosted by the Madison Chamber of Commerce, this community-driven race starts at Madison’s historic green, winds past scenic Bauer Park, and passes by Jeffrey Elementary before heading to the finish. Join students, families, businesses, and local organizations in supporting Night Out Of Hand, ensuring a safe and memorable graduation celebration for graduates of DHHS.

Run, walk or cheer - every step can make a difference!

Event Schedule:

  • Advance check in and packet pickup on May 16, 2025 - 3:00pm to 7:00pm
    • Lenny and Joe's Restaurant, 1301 Boston Post Rd, Madison, CT
  • Race Day Check In opens - 6:45 am
  • Kids Fun Run start - 7:45 am
  • 5K start - 8:00 am

Entry fees: (Processing fees added at check out)

  • Before April 21 - $30
    • April 21 - May 11 - $35
    • May 12 - May 17 - $40
    • Entrants 18 yrs and under will receive a $5 discount automatically at checkout.
  • Kids Fun Run - $5.00

  • First male and female Graduating Senior from Daniel Hand High School, class of 2025
  • Top male and female runner in following age groups:
    • 12 yrs and under
    • 13 - 19 yrs
    • 20 - 29 yrs

    • 50 - 59 yrs
    • 60 - 69 yrs
    • 70 + yrs

  • Start on Meeting House Ln
  • Turn right onto Copse Rd
  • Follow Copse Rd to turn around near Milton Jeffery Elem School
  • Return via Copse Rd to Finish on Meeting House Ln

Nite Out Of Hand

Nite Out Of Hand is a 501C(3) non-profit organization supporting Daniel Hand High School graduates and the community with a mission to provide a fun, safe,

substance free evening of celebration on graduation night.  It is planned and funded entirely by parent, student, community, and local business contributions.
