We will have a bounce house for the children!
Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the social distancing orders we have decided to switch to a completely virtual event. So that means we will not be having a physical race at East Rock Park on the day of May 2.
You may be asking yourself, What is a virtual race?
A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym, or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. And your medal will be shipped directly to you.
Virtual Team Captains:
What a great way to keep the momentum going by running with your friends and family. You can create a team by clicking on the TEAM button during the registration process. You will also be given the opportunity to share your team URL on your Facebook page once you have completed the sign up. Invite as many people to your TEAM as possible and lets make this Virtual 5k awesome!
Day Of The Race:
On the Day of the race you will receive an email detailing how to post your times, if you are inclined. You will have one week (5/2/2020 - 5/9/2020) from the day of the race to post them. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please call or email us with any questions you may have.
