Description

The Rooster Run/Walk will have a NEW 5K certified Course and an option of the 10K course.  Your little chickens will also have a chance to run in our 100 yard dash (Little Chicks Dash).  The proceeds from these events will benefit the Newtown Scholarship Association.

Make it a family event, bring your friends and cheer on your friends and family as they raise money for a great cause!  Register by Noon on June 4th before the price increase.  Registration will close on June 5th at 7:30 am.  All registration will be done online.

Race will be set up in waves of 45 people at a time, due to current CDC guidelines. You will be notified on which wave and time you are in.
The first wave will start at 8 am, then 15 minutes after each wave.
We will have markers on the ground to where to stand to keep your distance.

If you cannot run on this day, think about sponsoring.  All contributions will be tax deductible.  Over $100, gets your name on the race shirt.  Please make checks out and mail to: Newtown Parks and Recreation, 8 Simpson Street, Newtown, Ct 06470.

The first 300 participants will receive a t-shirt.
