IF YOU ARE TRYING TO REGISTER ON RACE DAY WE ARE OUT OF SHIRTS AND WINE. WE ARE OVER OUR LIMIT. IF YOU COME DOWN TO THE RUN WE WILL LET YOU RUN BUT WE CANNOT PROMISE YOU ANYTHING MORE THAN A FREE BEER!  Sorry!

We go SHINE OR RAIN FOLKS. We can’t postpone, we have one day permits and I ALREADY BOUGHT 200 BOTTLES OF VINO!

WE ARE SOLD OUT!

THIS IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED PEOPLE!

All abilities are welcome to run, walk, or stroll. Four legged mammals on leash are permitted but you must bring your own poop bags.

We are again Hosted by the Little Pub beautifully located in the Lordship section of Stratford

This late afternoon run/walk will feature terrific swag for the 21 & over participants.

(Under 21 can register and enjoy the event but will only receive a non-alcohol beverage.)

Our Course- 3.11 miles of scenic wonder! 80% direct water views, start/finish and post run fun overlooking Point no Point at the seawall- https://www.plotaroute.com/route/2396355

This idea all started when we saw an advert for the "Trunk or Treat" hosted by the Little Pub for the little tykes in our neighborhood. .

After we did some research it didn't take long to realize we could team up and create an opportunity for some casual fun.

So here is what we came up with:

The first 100 people will receive-

'A Wine of a Kind' shirt - might be short sleeve, might be LS, you never know & neither do we

(size guarantee by midnight 10/20, after that- whatever we have)

TWO- half-bottles of wine* (one white, one red)

ONE post run glass of a Little Pub beer*

Happy hour-appropriate snacks like pretzel bites, granola bars, bananas…

* 21 & over only

NOTE- Reg fee increases to $40 on 10/23.

THE SUNDAY 10/27 AFTERNOON SCHEDULE

3-8 pm The "Outdoor bar container" on the lot opposite the Little Pub will be open with food/drinks for adults 21 & over and non alcoholic beverages.

3:15 pm Bib/shirt/swag pickup starts- NO SOONER!

4:20 pm Free Kids Dash- just 100 yards or so, costumes encouraged, ages 8 & under.

Directed by Donna Cramond, the Queen of Kids, and semi-professional cat herder!

4:30 pm- HalloWine 5K run, walk, saunter- START

Tentative post run/walk stuff:  snacks, fluids, fun

AT LEAST ONE FREE BEER FOR EVERYONE 21 & over

This is still a work in progress and we are adding more by the day!

RESULTS- As of now this is a 'timed' event and we will post results online. Thanks to Jim Gerweck our #1 timer of all things Lordship.

AWARDS- With all that swag we may not have overall or age group awards-

but you never know what we might come up with at the last minute!

A HUGE shout out and thanks to the Little Pub Restaurant in Lordship!

They have been truly supportive of every running event in the neighborhood so please thank them,

stick around- have a bite to eat and have some fun.

Bring the family and tell your friends.

REMEMBER THIS IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED HUMANS

(Cute, well-behaved alternative mammals on leash are OK)

Event Director- Marty Schaivone, owner of MS Running Productions is a Lordship resident. MSRP directs over 30 running events each year in Fairfield County.

Thanks to Doug Grabe & Jillian and Little Pub they have teamed up to host a variety of boutique running events the last three years. Watch for more including the Holiday Run Dec 15.

Parking in the LP lot, along the sea wall, & on side streets. Please don't block driveways. We want our neighbors happy.
