AID STATIONS / NUTRITION

Aid stations will be roughly every 3 miles on the 10k and half marathon course. The 5k will not have an aid station. Each aid station will have water, GU Roctane, and GU gels. All stations will have disposable cups for runners. In an effort to reduce waste, we encourage runners to bring their own refillable bottles or cups. Thank you for your support in this.

RUNNER SAFETY

This event takes place on trails and city sidewalks. There are a few road crossing with volunteers but please be alert. In accordance with current Portland city regulations, special events have a very limited ability to hire Police officers for traffic control due to the understaffing of the Police department. Please follow all traffic laws at all street crossings. Your safety in crossing streets is your responsibility!

GEAR CHECK

We will have an athlete only gear check corral in which athletes will drop their bag at a pre-labeled area based on their bib number.  Volunteers will staff the entry and exit of the gear check area to make sure bags match the bib number of each runner entering and exiting. Bib numbers will be required to enter and exit the gear check corral. For safety purposes volunteers may ask to look inside of gear bags.

TOILETS

Toilets and hand washing area will be available at the start / finish location. Each aid station will also have a portable toilet located at it.

Awards will be distributed for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall for male and female for each distance. Age group awards will also be provided for 1st place in age group. Age groups will be 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34.... 70+.
