Description
The Civil Rights Race Series will be hosting the Selma to Montgomery 51 Mile Relay Race and Bike Ride to commemorate the 1965 world renowned march led by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The race will start in Selma, Alabama and end at the state capitol in Montgomery, Alabama.

- The relay and bike ride will start at 6:30 am.
- There will be a 12 hour completion time strictly enforced.

Registration Tips:
- Review the Race Information Packet.
- Designate a Team Captain.
- Create a team name and password.
- Register the team. (This is the responsibility of the Team Captain. *The Team Captain must complete registration and payment before team members can join.)
- Team members join the team. (Must have team password.)
- Check Run Sign Up and the Selma to Montgomery website for updates and announcements.

Registration for the 2027 Selma to Montgomery Relay is open. Pricing follows a three-tier structure — the earlier you register, the lower the rate.

Early Registration — Monday, May 25, 2026 through Wednesday, July 1, 2026 (11:59 PM CST)
Regular Registration — Thursday, July 2, 2026 through Thursday, October 15, 2026 (11:59 PM CST)
Late Registration — Friday, October 16, 2026 (12:00 AM CST) through Monday, February 22, 2027 (11:59 PM CST)
