Join the George Washington University Law School's alumni, current students, faculty, and friends across the country for the annual Association of Black Law Alumni Virtual 5K and fun walk. Whether you choose to run, walk, or jog, every mile you log helps empower the next generation of legal minds while strengthening our global alumni community.

Why We Run

All proceeds from registration fees and individual fundraising will directly support:

• Student Scholarships & Emergency Aid: Easing the financial burden for current law students so they can focus on their studies and public interest work.
• Alumni Programming & Mentorship: Funding networking events including regional chapter meetups and student-alumni mentorship initiatives throughout the year.

Event Overview

• When: September 15, 2026 through November 30, 2026
• Where: Anywhere! Your local park, neighborhood route, treadmill, or track.
• Distance: 5K (3.1 miles) or 1-Mile Fun Walk.
