Medical Heroes Appreciation Walk in Washington, D.C. on Monday June 15, 2015 (sponsored by CISCRP and DIA)

Join us at the Medical Heroes Appreciation Walk to recognize and celebrate study volunteers who give the gift of participation in clinical research and make new medical discoveries possible.

All proceeds from the event will support education and outreach programs to patients and families interested in learning more about the clinical research process. 

CISCRP, the organization coordinating this special event, is an independent non-profit, dedicated to educating patients and the public about the clinical research process. CISCRP works with medical/research communities, the media, and policy makers to make the industry more patient-centric.

The Medical Heroes Appreciation Walk will start at 6:30 a.m. at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Mount Vernon Place NW. We're hoping to get the local community more involved, so we're offering free registration to organized walking (or running) groups!
